Judge Judy Makes More Than Your Favorite Sports Stars

Carl Pavano. Jerome James. Ryan Leaf. Akili Smith. Bobby Bonilla. Nobody has made more sitting on their ass than Judith Sheindlin. Judge Judy raked in a cool $25 million last year. A few years ago, she inked a 4-year, $100 million dollar deal to berate people on television. Like she always says, “Don’t pee on my leg and tell me that it’s raining.”

Some how you think this bit of information would make me hate “Pay-Rod” a little less. It doesn’t. That guy is cancer’s cancer.

Review: Control

“It’s not like the hipsters have united and decided, ‘This is the best band,’ ” said Brian Aubert, singer-guitarist of Silver Lake indie-rock group the Silversun Pickups, which covered Joy Division’s “Shadowplay” on an early demo tape. “It’s always been the best band.
