Nicely done. If only the rest of the season ends up being this easy. Seems like there were more Mets fans at Dolphins Stadium than Marlins fans.

Yeah, so Ryan Zimmerman hit a game winning home run in tonight’s BS opening game for ESPN. Who cares? How boring was George Bush in the broadcast booth? Oh, and I really can’t stand John and Joe. The Nats stadium looks a whole lot like Fenway Park, doesn’t it? With the green walls in the outfield.

Enough of that. The real opening day is just a few long hours away. Baseball will officially be back and that means it’s the start of another season of pride, joy, nail biting and, ultimately, winning in New York.

Let’s go Mets! Oh, and to that other team in NY, good luck.

As Lost takes a break from the air, I’ll digress into some of my other passions: baseball, music and food. I’m playing fantasy baseball this year, so I might actually know a little bit about what’s going on in the rest of the MLB.

Ah, spring is in the air.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that, because, you know, I was there too. It was just odd to see Dame walking out of the store in Port St. Lucie. He probably had to get a toothbrush or something. He was cool, though – he acknowledged my “whattup Dame!”

This was right after Scoobs and I threw the ball around on Tradition field. We just walked right onto the field and started playing as if it were a playground. Good times in Florida.

Opening day is less than 2 weeks away. Let’s get this party started!

OK, so I’m not really a week to week fan of the NFL, but wow. Manning scrambling and Tyree catching the ball on his helmet on a 3rd down?! Can someone say the Endy Chavez of football? What a play. What a game. Congratulations to the New York Giants – winners of Super Bowl 42. Final score: 17-14.
