Peter Gammons of ESPN seemed pretty irked about the timing of ARod’s announcement.

It would have been nice to see Pedro back in Boston in a Mets uniform, giving the Sox a real opponent. Maybe next year. The 2007 season belonged to the Boston Red Sox. Congratulations to them and their fans.

If I had to guess, I’d say Jin is a dead man when the next season of Lost returns. Why? Because Daniel Dae Kim, the man who plays Jin, is the fourth Lost cast member to get arrested for some kind of driving violation in Hawaii. The other three are no longer on the show: Michelle Rodriguez (Ana Lucia), Cynthia Watros (Libby), and Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje (Mr. Eko).

Maybe ABC should invest in some taxis or limos or drivers or horses.
