No One Wants Brady Quinn

It’s kind of hard going from the anointed number one pick at the beginning of your senior year to being passed up for virtually everybody and your mom. Quinn was expected at worst to drop to 9th. He ended up being picked 22nd overall by the Browns, which passed him up with the third overall pick. The Browns took a guy who opted to go fishing instead of attending the draft with that pick. To make matters worst for Brady, ESPN kept asking how he was feeling after each team was bypassing him. How does it feel? Like your girlfriend performing fellatio on your best friend’s dog while everybody got a chance to watch it. You just felt bad for the guy.
Make no mistake, Miami will probably regret passing him up when they had the chance with the 9th pick. Picking Ted Ginn Jr. with that pick had everybody in the crowd scratching their heads. Guess the Dolphins feel okay with a Pavano-like Daunte instead. One more thing, the picks really don’t need to be 15 minutes each. That’s just way too much time and Taco Bell commercials. Five to ten minutes for the first round would suffice.
